The Most Peacful Place

After the death of my Aunt last week I went home to Oklahome to spend a few days with my family. Of course we took advantage of eating, shopping and laughing together! My aunt was cremated so we pick her ashes up on Friday when I got into Tulsa, it was a little creepie and because my family is not the post politicaly correct, we had some humorous and probably inapropriatly disprespectul moments before we all headed back to the world to move on with our lives, it was nice.
We also spent time as a family out at our family graves...
This is The Most Peaceful Place for me, I love that I can still spend time with my grandparents and making sure their graves stay beautiful and have flowers is important to me! :)

This is my Great Grandmother, my grandma's mother and we called her "MeMa", she always had suckers in her rolltop desk for us kids:

This is my Great Aunt, my Great Grandmother's sister and we called her "Aunt Babum", she was a crochet addict and make the most crazy warm and cozy booties with this huge ball on the top, I'm cracking up just thinking about how ridiculous the were:

Wylie (white) vs. West Mesquite (orange)

Although we lost 28-12, it was a good game early but just got away from us at the end...here are a few pics!!
Marc is directly across from #43 in middle of pic, you can't really see his #86 all that great:

Marc is closest to the sideline or the 2nd white jersey...this was a kickoff play:

During a Mesquite run play Marc was on the chase to prevent the touchdown and got blocked in the back, without a call and giving Mesquite the touchdown :(

working on my photography skills...

I promise to get better about taking photos of the real stuff as I get so into the game I forget to take pics until it's to late, but for Game #1 which we lost 22-7 against Sachse here are a couple...
The Team was warming up on the field before the game, Marc is #86!!

Meet the Pirates Night

In True Texas High School Friday Night Footall spirit Wylie had it's Meet the Pirate Night last Friday. The pep rally at the Stadium included Marc's First scrimmage as a high school footall Freshman team starting player!! The Freshamn team will play on Thursday nights beginning this week, I LOVE this time of year!!
GO PIRATES!!

The Cheerleaders were doing face painting so Hailee had them do a Heart for her! She was so mad the next morning when I made her wash it off in the shower... LOL!!

Marc and his team came out of the field house the last morning of practice before the scrimmage Friday Night...he is the one with the black band on his calf in the left side of the pic. This is the high school boy version of a "back-to-school" picture!!

Back-To-School!!

It's another milestone for the Williams Family, Hailee went to Kindergarden this morning!! She began her day arguing with me about her clothes, eventhough she had picked them out the night before, shocker...!! :) When we got to Groves she walked in with excitement and knew exactly where she was going after being there Friday for meet the teacher night. She has Mrs. Furhken who seemed young and sweet but capable of keeping control, which, how you do that with 15 5-6yr olds is beyond me!! Thank Goodness for amazing teachers!!

Madley In Love after 10 Years

Justin and I were proud to celebrate 10 years of marriage July 7th! After taking kids to Oklahoma to grandmas we headed to the coast, alone!! Although we LOVE the Florida beaches for their beauty both sand and water, we found that for a quick get away, Galveston area has some fun things to do/see and eat...here is a peek...

I love seeing the flower arrangements at the entrance of a Hotel...this was just inside the doors looking out over the Gulf of Mexico

Justin and I had planned our tattoo's before going on vacation and when we got there we found a shop off the beaten path, it was really cool inside and the artist was just as amazing! We each got the other person's first name inital on our ring finger...we love them!!

It was neat to see the sights of Galveston. Justin is looking out over the Gulf from the balcony at Murdoch's pier shop on the Sea Wall, this was one of the businesses destroyed in the hurricane but has since rebuilt beautifly.

Our Hotel was absolutely amazing! Wyndham Hotel Galvez on the Sea Wall...we had a gulf view room on the 6th floor of an 8 story hotel...the property and staff was amazing!!

Happy Father's Day

Because we love Daddy we gave him a day at the Dallas Cowboy Golf Club, in guy world this is like a day at the spa for us. It was all day and included food on the course and in the club house, drinks both regular and alcoholic, practice balls before your tee time and cool views... here are a few...

With our Anniversary pictures only 8 weeks away I have finally finished all the shopping and preperations, still working on the diet and exercise part of course..haha...but my biggest dilema has been solved, HAIR...I wanted longer hair but didn't have enough time to grow and so I called on the help of a co-worker of mine that does hair specializing in african american culture and she hooked my up with a human hair weave and I Love it!! This was our test run to make sure it would look good and sytle the way I want for picture day and I couldn't be happier...see for yourself...

The view of Tampa, FL.

My visit to Tampa, FL. on Feb. 15th and 16th was business so my "sightseeing" was from my hotel room window...LOL...

Dallas or Detroit??

These are a few pics from the Record Snow fall, 10+ inches, we had in Dallas on Feb. 11th and 12th!! It was so pretty and the kids were able to enjoy a true snowfall for the first time ever!!

it's almost here...

I'm really getting excited to celebrate 10yrs of marriage to a man I love more than ever! Even though I wouldn't change a thing about the way we got here, I've always wondered what a wedding would have been like, but not any more, sort of... I now have a beautiful dress, amazing shoes and an agreement from my husband to put on a tux and have a professional photography sitting at sunset in the Dallas Arboretum Gardens to celebrate our journey and capture the "photo opp" I missed 10yrs ago. However, I could have never know then how truly amazing it was going to be. Anyway, So much more to be done, but it will be here before we know it...

The same day we took down the Christams decorations Justin decided to bag the tons of leaves we had in the yard this year and Hailee made good use of her dad's hard work! As always, I was able to snap a good action shot before she forced me to take a pic of her posed in a beauty shot...LOL!!

Justin took these pics of Marc and Dylan while they were driving around in the hunting jeep at sunset over their Thanksgiving hunt 2009. Although they don't realize it yet, these are memories the boys will have for a lifetime!

Dylan shot this old 10 point buck at 175 yards on 12/28/09.

Marc shot this GREAT 12 point buck at 250 yards on Thanksgiving Day 2009! He was the best deer harvested in camp during the 2009 hunting season.
